Basic T40-12FWater pumps can be used in mixed circuits in single and double pipe heating systems and large-scale systems, as well as in different fields such as urban apartments, suburban villas, residential water supply pressurization, geothermal systems and hot water circulation, liquid circulation in cooling and air conditioning systems, boiler solar water supply, etc.
There are relay modules in the two junction boxes of two-headed pump and they are interconnected by cable. There are three operating modes and can be switched by selecting a switch:
1) Alternate running (factory default Settings)
The two pumps are operated alternately in the form of working pumps and standby pumps which each pump operate alternately every 24 hours. If the working pump stops running due to a fault or is manually shut down, the standby pump automatically starts running. The order of the working pump and the standby pump can be selected by selecting the switch.
2) Standby operation mode
Two pump heads, one as a working pump and the other as a backup pump. In this mode, the working pump will run continuously and will not perform periodic automatic alternating actions. If the working pump is out of operation for some reason, or is manually shut down, the standby pump will automatically start. The order of the working pump and the standby pump can be selected by selecting the switch.
3) Single pump operation mode
One pump operates independently and does not communicate with the other pumps. In this mode, if the working pump stops running due to a fault or is manually shut down, it will not automatically switch to another pump.

Outline Installation Drawing
When the circulation pump is installed early, the circulation pump shaft must be in a horizontal position, and the allowable installation angle of the circulation pump shaft is ± 5 °. The allowable junction box position and flow rate are shown in the following picture. In the use of normal condition, the pump is maintenance-free. For specific installation and maintenance methods, please read the instructions carefully.
This performance curve is applicable to clean water at room temperature. If a circulating pump is used for no clean water media, the hydraulic performance of the pump will decrease. Therefore, when selecting a pump, the characteristics of the liquid medium being transported should be considered.
