Ⅰ.Noise

Cause 1：Impurities that entering the gap of rotating parts makes friction noise.

Solutions: 1. Disassemble the pump and take out impurities in the runner.

2. Use water softener to reduce scale formation.

3. Use a filter net to keep the water in the pipeline clean.

Cause 2: Shaft abrasion caused by scale and by grinding due to lack of water.

Solutions: 1. Change the rotor and impeller.

2. Use water softener to reduce scale formation.

Cause 3: The insufficient water pressure at the water inlet causes the cavitation.

Solutions: 1. Increase system pressure

Cause 4: The water pump resonates with the system.

Solutions: 1. change a water pump with small flow and head.

2. Damping treatment shall be conducted during pump installation.

Ⅱ.Breakdown

Cause 1: rotor, shaft and bearing locked caused by scale

Solutions: 1. Change the rotor and impeller.

2. Regularly maintain the cleanness on the surface of the rotating parts of the water pump

Cause 2: Rotor locked caused by impurities and other matters in water

Solutions: 1. Change the rotor and impeller.

2. Clear the impurities in the runner.

3. Use a filter net to keep the water in the pipeline clean.
